Image number 29 of my 2011 365 Day Project.
After a photo shoot for church, I headed downtown to Los Angeles for some railroad photography.
Here is a shot from the Olympic Street bridge over the LA river with Amtrak's 8th Street facility.
From the left is Amtrak's Coast Starlight, Amtrak's South West Chief & a northbound Pacific Surfliner which is shoving to LA with a private owned dome car on the shoving end.

I was asked to take some photos of my sister-in-law in her winter formal dress. This was an in between pose shot that I liked best.
