An Early Morning Warp
The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus train as seen through my lens this morning rolling west on Santa Ana Street in the city of Anaheim as they began their jump to Ontario after 2 weeks at the Honda Center.

The "Other" Moment
An image from a weekend camping trip with friends in the Mojave. This one captured just after Jeff put his camera down from capturing his going away image of the train. While I intended to capture him capturing the train and missed that moment, I like this result better. It's not always "That" moment but more about the ones in between that I tend to remember.

Years ago a co-worker gave this 7 inch tall Bobble Head Jack from Jack N The Box to me. I adorned my desk for many years until the stiffs determined it was clutter and asked that it be taken home so things were standardized. It now sits on my desk at home.
Stuck Jack on a pedestal and through some LED lights underneath him to get some shadow play. He was all smiles the whole time. Such a trooper.
Too bad all his employees can not represent this in real life.

After a photo shoot for church, I headed downtown to Los Angeles for some railroad photography.
Here is a shot from the Olympic Street bridge over the LA river with Amtrak's 8th Street facility.
From the left is Amtrak's Coast Starlight, Amtrak's South West Chief & a northbound Pacific Surfliner which is shoving to LA with a private owned dome car on the shoving end.

A stack of DVD's on a spindle that I arranged for an ODC group. Used one Led flashlight behind and one in the bottom right corner with a reflector behind to bounce some of the yellow from my computer wallpaper in... this is what came out in the frame.
ODC - Sideview
Shot for Our Daily Challenge with the topic of Sideview (being one word). A stack of blank DVD's on a spindle with foam spacers and lit by one led flashlight on the exact opposite side.

Light Up - 17/365

Back on to my subjects of thought. I picked up some more LED flashlights to use for random lighting. One of them broke already but these are all awaiting batteries. $9.99 for 5 lights. Not a steal, but not to bad for what I want to do with them.
